[Hashimoto Shosho] Hoshitoku Zen Temple Graduated from Hanazono University in 1962. Studied under Master Oda Setsume (489th abbot of Daitoku-ji) at the specialized training hall in Daitoku-ji in 1962. Received the names "Kendo" and "Shosho" from Master Fujii Seido, the previous chief priest of Sanzen-in. Returned to Yagyu Hoshitoku-ji in 1965. Became the chief priest of Hoshitoku-ji in 1972. Designated as a Nara City cultural property in 1996.

[Hotoku Zenji Temple]
Jingo-san in Nara Prefecture was founded in the 15th year of the Kanei era by Yagyu Munenori as a memorial for his late father, Sekishuusai Sogen, and was founded by the monk Takuan, who was a friend of Munenori.
Later, it also became the funeral home of successive generations of the Yagyu clan.
