Born in 1943 in Nakaomi-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture
At the age of 13, he was ordained by the monk Fukutomi Isei at Kotokuji Temple in Ueno.
Graduated from the Department of Buddhist Studies, Faculty of Letters, Toyo University in 1967
At the same time, he entered Daitokuji Temple (he entered the Daitokuji monks' hall) and received the hammer and hammer training under Master Nakamura Sojun of the Kanunshitsu.
1983: Daitokuji Subtemple: Head Priest of Ryusen-an
July 1984: Appointed as the chief priest of Ryushoji Temple, a branch temple of Daitokuji, and the head instructor of the Daitokuji School's specialized dojo.
In October 2003, he became the 15th head priest of Daitokuji Temple.
