[Seibu Bunjo] Tofukuji Dojuin Born in Kokokuji, Hikone, Shiga Prefecture in 1925. Ordained at Kojoji, Obama, Fukui Prefecture in 1935. Graduated from Otani University in 1951. Began Zen and Buddhist studies at the Nanzenji Special Training Hall under Master Shibayama Zenkei. Became the head priest of Dojuin, a subtemple of Tofukuji, Higashiyama, Kyoto City in 1974. Became the head priest of Dojuin, a subtemple of Tofukuji, Higashiyama, Kyoto City in 1994.
