Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1942
In 1949, Nishigaki Soko was ordained as a monk at the Daitoku Sodo, and later at the Sokoku Sodo.
1976: Completed master's course at Bukkyo University Graduate School
In 1978, he became the chief priest of the Mannenzan Gokuraku Zen Temple of the Daitokuji School in Kinosaki, Hyogo Prefecture.

He lives near Tofukuji Temple and has a kiln built there.
Born in Yamashina, Kyoto in 1959
In 1980, he began training at Tofukugama.
Studied under Tofuku Kiln
Became independent in 1987.
