昭和34年 岡山大学教育学部特設美術科彫塑専攻中退
昭和34年 日本伝統工芸展入選
昭和35年 胡姑山（こくやま）古窯址を調査・復元し築窯
昭和36年 備前焼中世の（穴窯）を復元、その焼成に成功する
昭和37年 日本伝統工芸会正会員となる
昭和43年 現在陶芸の新世代展推薦出品
昭和46年 第1回日本陶芸展に推薦招待され、その作品は海外巡回展に推される
昭和48年 火襷花器を外務省に買い上げされ中国日本大使館に展示される
昭和49年 第6回金重陶陽賞受賞
昭和59年 岡山日日新聞社文化賞受賞
昭和62年 日本工芸会中国支部展審査員となる
平成元年 第1回現代作家美術展に出品依頼され、以後毎年連続出品
平成元年 日本陶芸展10回記念展に推薦招待される
平成02年 岡山県文化奨励賞受賞
平成16年 重要無形文化財「備前焼」の保持者（人間国宝）に認定される
