Born in 1970 as the fourth son of Isezaki Mitsuru (Okayama Prefecture Important Intangible Cultural Property) In 1988, he studied under Shibaoka Koichi. In 1993, he began making pottery under his father Mitsuru. In 1999, he built a kiln and became independent. He is a full member of the Japan Crafts Association.
