[Takamise Seiko] Hagi ware artist. Born in Yachimata, Chiba Prefecture in 1946. Decided to become a Hagi ware potter in 1972. Studied under Yoshida Hagien in 1973. Opened Asahimura Akimiki kiln in 1978. Held solo exhibition at Chiba Mitsukoshi in 1996. Since then, he has held solo exhibitions in various places to present his work and continue to hone his skills.
