Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1965
Graduated from Arita Pottery College in 1986
In 1986, he studied under Saka Koraizaemon, the 12th head of the Hagi ware family.
In 1996, he became independent and opened a kiln (Tori Kiln)
The kiln name was chosen after the founder of the Saka family, Ri Jing.
Since then, he has held solo exhibitions at Iwataya and Tokyu Department Store (Shibuya), as well as numerous other exhibitions.
