[Girls' Festival] The "Girls' Festival" was originally called the "Joshi" or "Joimi" festival, and referred to the first day of the snake in March. However, it was later decided to be held on March 3rd.
Hinamatsuri is an annual event in Japan that prays for the healthy growth of girls. The Hina dolls (mainly male and female dolls) are decorated with cherry blossoms, tangerines, and peach blossoms, and are offered Hina Arare and diamond-shaped rice cakes. Food and drink such as sake and chirashi sushi are also served. It's a fun festival.
