●Icchin is a decorative technique that creates raised line patterns on tableware using paint, glaze, and other materials.
One theory is that the name comes from the Ichinen paste used in Yuzen dyeing and other processes.
The Icchin technique is also referred to as Icchin Mori or Icchin Kake.

Born in 1960 in the land of Mino ware
He studied Japanese painting at the design department of Tajimi Technical High School, and potter's wheel and glazes at the ceramics department of the same school.
In 1983, he joined his family business, Harahira Kiln.
Since 2006, he has participated in group exhibitions and exhibits in various places.
In 1998, Takaaki established the product development division, Roba Koubou, with Takaaki in charge of planning and his wife Tatsuko in charge of design.
