Born in Kyoto in 1948
1969: Trained as a potter under his uncle, Eiho Kato
1972: Graduated from the Prefectural Pottery Training School
1977: Opened kiln in Yamashina, Kyoto
1979: Collaborative exhibition with Todaiji Temple's Kiyomizu Kosho
In 1980, he went to Hanase in Rakuhoku and built a kiln.
