●Autumn leaves in Takao...Takao, along with Tsuganoo and Makio along the Kiyotaki River valley, is known as one of the three mountains, and has long been famous as a spot for viewing autumn leaves.
Jingo-ji Temple, located on the slopes of Mt. Takao, is home to many old trees that are over 500 years old, including the Japanese maple, also known as the Takao maple, and the surrounding mountain village scenery is a beautiful side of the ancient capital of Kyoto.

Born in 1952 in Idecho, Tsuzukugun, Kyoto Prefecture
1969: Today, the Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School is completed.

In 2000, he established his own kiln in Tanabe, Kyoto.
