Goki is a Korean tea bowl made during the Joseon Dynasty, with a deep recess, high base and tall height.
The name Goki is said to come from its bowl-like shape, which resembles the wooden Goki bowls used for eating and drinking in Zen temples.
(Furthermore, Goki also has the meaning of vessels for offerings, and this is said to have been their original role.)
