1982: Entered the Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training Institute
After graduating in 1985, he studied ceramic forming techniques under Professor Katsuro Kitamura at the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Research Institute Ceramics Research Institute.
1986: Awarded prizes at the Seiyokai Exhibition and the Kinki Branch Exhibition of Traditional Crafts
1987: Selected for the Shinshokai exhibition and exhibited at stores in Tokyo and Kyoto
