[31st Generation Kato Tozaburo (real name Kato Koji)] Akatsu Kiln
Recognized as a holder of the Seto Intangible Cultural Property for his Ofukeyu glaze.
Born in Akatsu, Seto City, Aichi Prefecture in 1948
In 1970, he studied under his father, the Nitten-affiliated artist Karasaburo 30th.
April 1991: 31st Kato Tozaburo
Judge for the 27th Tokai Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1996
Currently, he is the Secretary of the Tokai Branch of the Japan Crafts Association.
