Our pottery is produced in two locations: Kotoura Kiln in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, and Oizumi Kiln in Oizumi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, on the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake.
"Oizumigama" is a registered trademark of Kotouragama, Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
[4th generation (real name Masaaki)]
Born in 1947 in Amagasaki as the eldest son of three generations.
1972: Started pottery making at Kotoura Kiln
1982~ Selected for the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition and the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
Certified as a regular member of the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 2000
2000-2002 Exhibited "CERAMICS '90-92 - Tradition and its contemporaneity" at Seibu Department Store Tsukashin Branch
1996: 4th generation Kiriyama successor
Name succession exhibitions held in Osaka, Tokyo and other locations
Since then, he has held solo exhibitions in various locations.
In 2006, a father-son exhibition by Kiriyama and Yasuaki was held at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi store.
September 2007: Father and son exhibition held in Paris, France
March 15, 2008: Exhibition of the successive generations of Kiriyama held at the Amagasaki Museum

May 2010: 100th anniversary exhibition held at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store
June 2010: Tea ceremony pottery exhibition held at Kingen-do in Sendai
October 2010: Held an exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the opening of the kiln at Yamagataya in Miyazaki
January 2011: 100th anniversary exhibition held at Takashimaya Osaka
September 2011: Centennial commemorative exhibition held at Tokiwa Oita store
November 2011: Centennial commemorative exhibition held at Sogo Hiroshima
April 2012: Planned and managed the 2nd Japan-France Art Festival in Teramachi, Amagasaki, and held a tea ceremony at the same time.
April 2012: Preview held at Marugame Eirakutei
June 2012: Centennial exhibition held at Yamagataya in Kagoshima
