[(Childhood name: Saburo)] Ceramic artist, third son of the first Takeizumi
Born in Kyoto in 1900
In 1921, he took on the name of the third generation Chikusen Miura.
In 1944, he handed over the family headship, established a separate family, and changed his name to Takeken.
He specializes in gold brocade and produces gorgeous tea ceremony utensils in the style of Ninsei and Kenzan. Flower vases are the main focus.
1942: Certified by the government as a technology preservation specialist
Member of the Kyoto Traditional Potters Association
In 1961, he was selected for the French Ceramic Art Exhibition.
Died in 1990, age 90
