Born in Kyoto in 1942 as the fifth son of Gyokudō Tezuka. Studied under his father Gyokudō. 1971 Opened the Kanshūji kiln in Yamashina, Kyoto. 2001 On the occasion of his 60th birthday, he received the kiln name Kachō kiln and the pottery name Sekiun from Master Takada Meihō, the head priest of Daitoku-ji Temple. 2003 Opened the Kachō kiln in Saga, Kyoto. Died in 2016.
