1979: First selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
1988: Became a regular member of the Japan Crafts Association
1994 Yamaguchi Prefecture Arts and Culture Promotion Encouragement Award
2003: Appointed director of the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition
2004 Hagi ware: Seiunzan Okada kiln 8th generation successor
