What is Narumi Oribe? Narumi Oribe is a type of ware made by joining together white clay and red clay, applying a green glaze on top of the white clay, and then drawing patterns with lines of white mud and iron paint on top of the red clay, and then covering it with a feldspar ash glaze.
The origin of the name Narumi Oribe is unclear, but it may be due to the similarity in color tone to Narumi Shibori.
