Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Painting, Fourth Research Lab in 1978
1978: Completed the ceramics training course at the Kyoto Industrial Research Institute
1979: Started making pottery in Hagi, Yamaguchi Prefecture
1988: Won the NHK Yamaguchi Broadcasting Station Award at the Traditional Crafts New Works Exhibition
1988: 12th generation Saka Koraizaemon takes over the name
Regular member of the Japan Crafts Association since 1994
Many solo exhibitions at Mitsukoshi and Takashimaya in Nihonbashi Died on July 26, 2004 at age 54
