Born in Hagi City in 1979
Graduated from Hagi High School in 1998
In 1998, he entered Kanagawa University, and in 2000, after dropping out, he went to Canada to study.
In 2001, he returned to Hagi and studied under his father, Susumu Notomi.
In 2004, he exhibited at the Hagi Ceramic Artists Association Exhibition and has continued to refine his work ever since.
He studied under his grandfather, the first generation Notomi Choun, and his father, Susumu.
