●Yumedono (Dream Hall)...The main hall of the Eastern Precinct of Horyuji Temple, located in Ikaruga Town, Ikoma District, Nara Prefecture.
This octagonal hall was built by Gyoshin around 739, and is a national treasure along with the principal image, the standing statue of Kuse Kannon Bodhisattva.

Born in 1960 in the land of Mino ware. Studied Japanese painting at the design department of Tajimi Technical High School, and potter's wheel and glazes at the ceramics department of the same school. Joined the family business, Harahira Kiln, in 1983. Has been active in group exhibitions and exhibitions in various places since 1996.
