Yoshitaka Kiln (one of the Seven Enshu Kilns, producer of Kosobe ware)
In 1979, the kiln was opened along the Minase River in Takatsuki.
Born in 1951 as the youngest son of the first generation of Kishu-yaki Aoi Kiln, Sumitomo Samukawa
Graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Osaka University of Arts (majoring in ceramics) in 1972
While studying under his teacher, the first Sutoyo, he worked as an assistant at the same university.
In 1974, he began studying tea ceremony utensils and ancient art under Chohoan Ichida at the Osaka Art Club.
In the autumn of 1979, a climbing kiln was built in Kawakubo, Takatsuki City.
Spring 1980: Kosobe ware is revived as tea pottery "Yoshitaka Kiln"

It is currently counted as one of the Seven Enshu Kilns.
The garden was named after the famous "Kagero Pond," a pond depicted in the "Illustrated Map of Famous Places along the Tokaido Road" by Japanese painter Yamamoto Shunkyo.
At the time, Kobori Enshu was the magistrate of Omi, so it is likely that Enshu provided guidance.
The famous tea caddies favored by Enshu are "Oeyama" and "Hakuun."
