Graduated from Yamaguchi Prefectural Hagi High School in 1960
Graduated from Rikkyo University in 1965 (studied at kilns in western Japan)
In 1978, he became a Living National Treasure and the 11th generation master of the Miwa Kyusetu Kiln, serving as an assistant to Ryusaku Miwa.
September 1984: Selected for the Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Exhibition
In 1985, he was selected for the "Shirohagi Tea Bowl" exhibition at the Tanabe Museum of Art.

In 1986, he was selected for the "Shirohagi Tea Bowl" exhibition at the Tanabe Museum of Art.

In 2003, he was selected for the "Tea Ceremony Art Exhibition" at the Tanabe Museum of Art with his work "Hagi, Kohiki Tea Bowl."
In 2010, the work "Hagi, Kohiki Half-Cylinder Tea Bowl" was selected for the "Tea Ceremony Art Exhibition" at the Tanabe Museum of Art.
In 2016, he was selected for the "Chanoyu Art Exhibition" at the Tanabe Museum of Art for his "Kohagi Revival Kohiki Half-Cylinder Tea Bowl."
