●Silver Orchid (Ginran)・What is Silver Orchid (Ginran)? It is a perennial plant of the orchid family, and can be seen blooming in the spring between April and June.
It has a symbiotic relationship with mycorrhizal fungi and other trees, and can only grow in places where certain conditions are met.
This was a very common orchid that grew naturally in the bright mountain forests of Japan, where it was not exposed to direct sunlight, but it is now considered an endangered species due to the dwindling number of environments suitable for its growth.
Size: Approx. diameter 12.2 x height 7.8 cm

Born in 1952 in Idecho, Tsuzukugun, Kyoto Prefecture
1969: Today, the Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School is completed.
Studied under the first generation, Mr. Josui Kato
In 2000, he established his own kiln in Tanabe, Kyoto.
