[Daijo Shiozawa (pen name: Bokuun)] Head Abbot of Nanzenji Temple
Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1920
1928: Apprentice at Tenjuan, a subtemple of Nanzenji Temple
In 1942, he was ordained by the former head priest of Nanzenji Temple, Soin Fujita.
Graduated from Rinzai College (now Hanazono University) in 1941
1944: Deputy chief priest of Jomei-ji Temple of the Tofukuji School
1947: Zen training session with Master Shoinken Rinkei at the Myoshinji Special Training Hall Hanging Tower
In 1950, he studied Zen at Shoinken Tofukuji Temple and later studied at Kunbokunen, and received the Dharma.
1962: Deputy chief priest of Tenjuan, a subtemple of Nanzenji Temple
1967: Head priest of Tenjuan, a subtemple of Nanzenji Temple
1984: 334th abbot of Nanzenji Temple, Rinzai sect (11th abbot)
Passed away in 2008
