[Masamichi Maeda] Masamichi's introduction
Born in Wakayama Prefecture in 1939
1957: Enrolled at Hanazono University
In 1959, he was ordained under the guidance of Daiko Furukawa.
In 1961, he built a hanging tower at the Engaku Sodo in Kamakura and studied Zen under Sogen Asahina.
In 1974, he became the chief priest of Zuiho-in, a subtemple of Daitokuji Temple.

In the fourth year of Tenbun (1536), Otomo Sorin of Bungo established the temple as his family temple, with the 91st abbot of Daitokuji, Bishu, as its founder.
