Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1934.
While helping out with the family pottery business, he began making pottery around 1963.
Studied under the 13th generation of Takatori pottery master Hassen Takatori
Currently studying the unique "Namikuro" (amber glaze) of Hassengama.
