Born in Kyoto in May 1946
In 1969, he inherited the family business of Kyoto joinery and was given the title of Seichusai by the head priest of Kenninji Temple.
He also handles a wide range of tea ceremony utensils, and is in charge of making antique utensils for Daitokuji Temple, Daitokuji Temple Betsuin Ukimido, Byodoin Temple, Eigenji Temple Ikuta Shrine, and other places. He is also holding solo exhibitions in various places.
