Resides in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture
His father was a Kutani ware artist, and after graduating from high school, he trained as a Kutani ware artist in his father's studio.
He became independent as a lacquerware and maki-e artist and continues to do so to this day.
Currently studying as a Takaoka lacquerware artist and participating in various projects.
