1982: Studied lacquer art under Toshio Nakatani (my late father) - a traditional craftsman
In 1983, he studied at the Takaoka Lacquerware Association Successor Training School.
1984: Studied at the Traditional Craft Industry Successor Training School in Takaoka City.
1986: Won an award at the Takaoka Traditional Industry Youth Association General Exhibition
