Kettle maker Studied under Takahashi Keisuke, a Japanese traditional craftsman. A kettle maker living in Yamagata who inherits the tradition of Oshu Yamagata casting.
Born January 19, 1937. Originally from Yamagata Prefecture. Since his first selection in 1973, he has been selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition more than 10 times. He won the Japan Crafts World Tokyo Branch Award at the 5th Traditional Crafts Musashino Store and has been selected for the Traditional Crafts Japanese Metalwork Exhibition 12 times.
1982: Certified as a Japanese traditional craftsman and a full member of the Japan Crafts Association
