●Snow, moon and flowers (Setsugetsuka / Yukitsukihana)...Snow, moon and flowers. Beautiful scenery in the four seasons.

The meaning is that the host and guests should relax and respect each other, and that the equipment in the tea room and the atmosphere of the tea ceremony should be purified.
These are known as "Rikyu's Four Rules and Seven Principles" in the tea ceremony, and it is said that when his disciple asked him to teach him the secrets of the tea ceremony, Sen no Rikyu replied as follows.
●Originally nothing (honraimu ichibutsu)...This means that originally there is nothing to cling to and it is empty.
● Bamboo has distinct nodes from top to bottom (take ni jōge no fushi ari)...Bamboo has clearly defined nodes from top to bottom, a phrase that contrasts this with the world of discrimination.
