[Nishigakidaido] Gokurakuji Temple, Kinosaki, Hyogo Prefecture
Born in Kura Prefecture in 1942.
In 1949, he was ordained as a monk by Bunzan Soko. After graduating from Japan Social Welfare University, he was appointed to the Daitoku Sodo and later the Shokoku Sodo.
In 1976, he completed his master's course at Bukkyo University Graduate School.
In 1978, he became the chief priest of Gokuraku Zenji Temple of the Daitokuji school in Kinosaki County, Hyogo Prefecture, a position he still holds today.

Born in Awataguchi, Kyoto in 1936
1956 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Ceramic Art College (Ceramics Department)
(Studied pottery under the late potter Koura Takashima)
In 1957, he became a ceramic artist under the late Living National Treasure Tomimoto Kenkichi.
In 1973, the kiln was opened in Higashiyama, Kyoto (Kofugama).
Trained in pottery at a pottery studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto until 1978
In 1989, the kiln was moved to Fushimi, Kyoto.
