●Flowers of all nations, spring in full bloom (hanahiraku bankoku no hana)…A single flower announces the arrival of spring to the whole world. This is an expression of the world of wonder, where the one and the many are one and the same.
●Hyakka haru itatte tagatame hiraku (A hundred flowers bloom in spring for whom?)…When spring comes, many flowers bloom for whom? The meaning behind this is that we cannot see the flowers that bloom in full bloom.
●Ouka Bisho no Haru (Smiling Cherry Blossoms in Spring)…Ouka is not a Japanese cherry blossom, but a cherry blossom. This is a joyous scene in early spring when the cherry blossoms are just starting to bloom.
