●The final day of the year was a success… I am grateful that the year ended without incident.
The same as usual, normal days
"Buddhism" means a mind that does not seek Buddhahood, enlightenment, or the completion of the path. If you are enlightened, there is nothing you can do.
●Yamasamuushitehananohirakukotoososhi (The mountain flowers bloom late)…The winter is long in the mountain villages, and spring comes very slowly. In other words, the blooming of flowers represents the enlightenment that is reached after rigorous training.

Born in Kyoto in 1930
In 1959, he was appointed as the chief priest of Shoshunji Temple (Funai-gun, Kyoto Prefecture) of the Daitokuji School.
In 1983, he was appointed as the head priest of the Daitokuji Temple (Kameoka City)
In 1989, the main hall, priest's quarters and temple gate of Horinji Temple were built.
2002: Shoshunji Temple main hall and gate were built.
In 2004, I handed over the head priest of Horin-ji Temple to the next head priest and was appointed head priest of Shoshun-ji Temple again.
