●What is a Toyama shelf?...It is a double shelf made of paulownia wood with four pillars, with the top and bottom boards on all four sides and the middle board being cloud-shaped, and Toyama-shaped boards are fitted on three sides between the top and middle boards, and it is a small shelf with legs on the four corners of the base board.
This shelf was favored by the 14th head of the Urasenke school, Mugensai Sekoso Soshitsu, who was known by his Buddhist name Tantansai.
*Can be used with both ro and furo.
