[Tea utensils/tea ceremony tools/shelves] Daimoku shelf, copy of Jyukchuusai's favorite, made by Kobayashi Kosai, assembled, for hearth and brazier

● Daimedana (main shelf) is... made of cedar wood, half a width with a sleeve that is 1 shaku 4 sun 5 bu, the end of the brazier is covered with a sliding door, and there is a board with a slit opening that runs from the corner pillar to the sliding door, about one-third of the way up, and from the corner pillar to the guest pillar in the sleeve, with a shelf board attached to the inside corner, and the lower part of the sleeve is made of a fuki-nuki.
This shelf was favored by Sokuchusai Mujin Sosa, the 13th head of the Omotesenke school.
It is based on the reed shelf and allows the setting of daimoku in large rooms and other spaces.
There is also a free-standing shelf favored by Yurakusai, which can be used for reverse-style tea ceremony by turning a large room into a small room.
The nails inserted into the right pillar can move freely from right to left, and the other side is fitted with silver-fir sliding doors in winter, which can be removed and replaced with blinds in summer, hence the name.
