●What is a Urokosukashi double shelf?...It is a four-pillar double shelf with urushi lacquering and side panels in the shape of a urokozuru (scaled crane) with a crane openwork pattern inside a triangle attached to the left, right and across the space between the top and middle boards.It is a small shelf with legs on the four corners of the bottom.
This shelf was favored by Sokuchusai Mujin Sosa, the 13th head of the Omotesenke school.
*Both the ro and the furo can be used.
