The Nakagawa family is also known as kazarishi (metal ornament makers), and they specialize in the creation of intricately crafted metal tea utensils, and have inherited excellent metalworking techniques.
His works mainly consist of hammered objects made by forging iron and castings made by casting.

・The Ten Senke Craftsmen are an honorific title for ten craftsmen, including lacquerers and joiners, who are involved in the tea ceremony and frequent the three Sen schools (Omotesenke, Urasenke, and Mushakojisenke). During the Meiji period, the names were reorganized into the current Ten Craftsmen. (There is also a theory that the Mitsukoshi department store was the creator of the name during the Taisho period.)
