● A spoon stand is a display stand that is placed on a long board or stand.
It serves as a place to hold a ladle upright (container) and also as a place to hold the fire tongs.
It seems that the ladle is placed towards you and the tongs are placed on the other side, held between the handle of the ladle.
When there is a ladle stand, the ladle should not be pulled into the lid rest, but should always be inserted straight into the stand.

(The artist is recognized as a holder of Mie Prefecture's intangible cultural heritage for his "Kuwana Banko (Akae)" technique.)
Born in 1944 in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture.
After graduating from Mie Prefectural Kuwana High School in 1964, he studied under his grandfather, the first Zuizan.
In 1982, he took on the name Zuizan III.
In 1987, it was designated as an intangible cultural asset of Kuwana City.
In 2001, the museum was recognized as an intangible cultural asset by Mie Prefecture.
