Born in 1957 in Moriguchi, Osaka Prefecture
Graduated from the Department of Crafts at Osaka University of Arts in 1980
Studied under the 9th generation Hanshichi Shirai
In 1985, the Ichisan Kiln was opened in Dojo-cho, Kita-ku, Kobe.
In 1989, the Ichisan kiln was transferred to Kinsenji, Yamaguchi-cho, Nishinomiya City, and the anagama kiln was completed. Since then, he has been honing his skills through exhibitions, etc.
