Shichijishiki is a method of tea ceremony training that was established by Joshinsai, the 7th head of the Omotesenke school, in consultation with his brother, Soshitsu Itto, the 8th head of the Urasenke school, and other senior disciples, including Fuhaku Kawakami.
The seven ritual methods are: Kagetsu, Saza, Chakabuki, Kazucha, Mawaricharcoal, Mawaribana, and Ichi-ni-san.
Basically, training is done in groups of five, with each person having a defined role.
・Kagetsu: A tea ceremony in which the host and guest prepare tea using Kagetsu cards.
・Chozasa...Tea ceremony with three guests in the east and half east. The main guest lights incense, the second guest puts flowers, and the third guest places charcoal.
