Born in Kyoto in 1936 as the eldest son of lacquer artist Miki Omote Etsu.
1960: Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Crafts (now Kyoto City University of Arts) (graduate school)
In 1962, he worked hard on technical development under his father, Omote Etsu.
Selected and awarded at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, Kyoto Prefecture Crafts Exhibition, Kyoto City Art Exhibition, and Kyoto City Craft Exhibition
In 1968, he was involved in the production of lacquer paintings and maki-e lacquerware for ship interiors, which continues to this day.
1969: Made lacquer decorative wall for the entrance hall of the Tokyo Maru (Ryukyu Kaiun)
1973: New Sakuramaru (JIEF) Entrance Hall, Library Lacquer Painting and Decorative Wall Production
1974: Created lacquer paintings for the conference room and salon of the geological survey ship Hakurei-Maru (Ministry of International Trade and Industry Metals Agency), and lacquer panels for the special room of the Sunflower II (Japan Express Ferry)
1975: Emerald Okinawa (Ryukyu Kaiun) special first-class lacquer wall decoration
1977: Kyoto Bankers Association, table lacquerware production
1978: Lacquer painting and lacquer painting of the shelves and furnishings of the Ise Shrine Kagura Hall
1980: Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine chief priest's room: decorative shelf lacquer painting production Produced lacquer paintings for the deep sea research vessel Shinkai's mother ship "Natsushima" (Marine Technology Center) salon
1982: Created lacquer paintings for the Osaka Maru (Mitsui Osaka Shosen) Salon
1983: Created lacquer paintings for the Echigo Maru (Nippon Yusen Kaisha) Salon , Created lacquer paintings for the meeting room of the Bulbul (Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force)
In 2000, the 3rd Omote Etsu succession commemorative exhibition was held at the Takashimaya Art Department Osaka store.
