From 1946 to 195, he studied under the Living National Treasure Ichigo Ichiro and mastered the art of lacquering.
In 1951, he became independent and inherited the family business.

In 1882, my grandfather Takejiro established a company that manufactures and sells traditional art and craft items, including Wajima lacquerware.
In 1910, his father, Kosaku, inherited the family business.
Currently the owner of Sasatani Rinshudo (pen name: Shuho) Studied under lacquer artist Fukuya Shinoda
In 1953, he inherited the family business.
