He studied under his father-in-law, the first master Yorigami Suhaku, and the first master Higaki Sukura inherited the Katsura kiln.
[Second generation: Higaki Souraku]
1927: Born in Kyoto as the eldest daughter of the brazier, Suhaku Yorigami.
In 1955, she opened a kiln in Nishiyama, Kyoto with her husband, the first generation Takara Higaki.
In 1985, the first Takagaku Higaki passed away, and he took on the name of the second Takagaku.
Solo exhibition at Tamaya in Kitakyushu in 1985
In 1930, he held the "Mother and Child Exhibition with Aoko Higaki" in Yokohama, as well as other group exhibitions.
