[First Generation] Isojima Kiln
The first generation Taniko Ishiko started firing Raku ware in 1910.
[2nd Generation] Isojima Kiln
In 1926, he taught the practical skills of Raku ware pottery under the tutelage of the first master.
Held a ceramics exhibition at Mitsukoshi in Osaka in 1935 and at Shirokiya in Tokyo in 1959.
[3rd Generation Keikoku Ishika (Taniko Ishika)] Isoshima Kiln
The third generation Ishika learned the practical skills of Raku ware pottery under the second generation.
In 1985, he held a pottery exhibition at Maruei in Nagoya.
In 1987, he exhibited at the Mie Ceramic Art Exhibition at Matsubishi in Tsu.
January 1988: Exhibited at the Isojima Kiln Exhibition and Lacquerware Exhibition at the Nagoya Mitsukoshi Art Salon
Since then, he has been exhibiting and studying handmade Raku ware suitable for the tea ceremony.
