[3rd generation]
My grandfather was born in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture in 1944, and his family lived in Kiyomizuzaka, Kyoto.
In 1962, he became the third generation Matsuraku master, and through the kindness of Master Deguchi Onisaburo and Master Oda Setsudo (1901-1966), the 11th abbot of Daitokuji Temple (504th head priest), he opened a kiln in Kameoka again in 1969.
He is currently studying under the second Shogaku.
