[3rd generation (real name: Ryotaro)]
Born in Nagoya in 1938 as Masatsugu's eldest son.
After graduating from the sculpture department of the art department of Aichi Prefectural Asahigaoka High School, he devoted himself to training in Raku ware under his father as his teacher.
In 1973, he took over as the third generation potter and established his own style of pottery making, focusing on the Koetsu-style tea bowls that his predecessor aspired to.
While energetically holding solo exhibitions all over the country, he became a member of the Kyokai in 1984 and has since established ties with the Urasenke school of tea ceremony.
During the third generation's time, the number of tea ceremony practitioners was rapidly increasing, and the kiln was highly valued by both the Omote and Ura Sen schools as a place for inscription boxes, but unfortunately he passed away suddenly at a young age.
